Peer Support Enhancement

This is for those who have already completed the ATC 101  

This course has been requested by those who want to learn more about ITR, and want to get a feel for the process.This helps them explain it to another person who may benefit by seeing a clinician  They get to experience ITR from both the facilitator and the "client" side in the course experiential exercises. It helps them understand what it will be like for a peer to experience ITR.

ATC 102 Learning Objectives:

• 1. Implement the information provided in the ATC 101 course into practice
  2. Understand and administer assessments
  3. Explain and administer a simple trauma Graphic Narrative, including the re-presentation
  4. Explain and administer a basic Externalized Dialogue
  5. Be confident in facilitating the basic ITR process for a simple trauma

   

ITR does not regulate how someone uses their skills. Each person must know and follow their state laws.
