ITR Professional Directory

This is a complimentary directory provided by the ITR Training Institute and features those who have opted in to sharing their information and have completed at minimum the Levels 102/103 training.  The majority of individuals use the ITR model as a primary or adjunct approach in their practice.

While ITR was developed primarily as a psychotherapy, it is successfully applied by others in the fields of pastoral and spiritual counseling, coaching and consulting, mediation and conflict resolution, working with groups and organizations and other non-clinical applications.

The title ITR Certified Trauma Recovery Specialist (ITR-CTRS) implies the person integrates ITR in one or more related fields, rather than psychotherapy or that the individual is not yet licensed.

If you are looking for an independently licensed therapist or someone who is trained in mental health, you should confirm their credentials when you first contact them. 

Individuals who carry ITR Certified®, have demonstrated competency using Instinctual Trauma Response® for complex trauma. Those marked "Trained" are working on certification.

ITR Certifications are good for 2 years.

Under no circumstances should this directory be used to verify the credentials of ITR professionals. In no event shall ITR Training Institute be liable for damages to any user of the ITR Certified® Professional Directory.

Certification is a voluntary process. It is a pathway by which individuals demonstrate their ITR skill competence. Learn more about becoming ITR Certified® here. It is the responsibility of the ITR Certified  professional to update their information by sending an email to [email protected] and maintain current licensure with their state to keep their ITR certification current. Anyone not currently certified with ITR will have "Trained" under their certification.
